This dress was part of an absolutely gorgeous set of children’s formal wear from the 1950s. All finishes and embroidery are handmade. Short-sleeved white formal gown, small collar, blue smock at chest with lovely stitching and embroidery detail, blue stemmed roses embroidered throughout. Balloon sleeves smocked at the edge for a pleated effect. Closed in the back with four small mother-of-pearl buttons. No composition label but cotton feel, very good condition. Measurements flat: height from shoulder 40cm, 29cm from armpit to armpit. Each piece is carefully selected and inspected.
